About the Role
We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team at The Concourse Skating Rink this winter.
As a Skating Rink Attendant, you’ll play a key role in creating a fun, safe, and memorable experience for every visitor. From helping guests with their skates to keeping the rink and surrounding area running smoothly, you’ll be part of the team that makes the magic happen.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming and assisting visitors before, during, and after sessions
- Monitoring the rink area to ensure guest safety
- Helping with skate hire, fitting, and returns
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation around the rink
- Providing friendly, helpful customer service
- Supporting the setup, daily operation, and close-down of the rink
About You
We’re looking for people who are:
- Friendly, approachable, and confident with the public
- Calm under pressure and safety-conscious
- Happy working outdoors and on their feet
- Great communicators and reliable team players
- Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
No previous experience is required — full training will be provided.

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced, proactive, and people-focused Rink Supervisor to help lead the team at The Concourse Skating Rink this winter.
As a supervisor, you’ll oversee the daily running of the rink — ensuring everything operates smoothly, safely, and with great customer service. You’ll be responsible for leading a team of attendants, managing session schedules, and helping deliver an enjoyable experience for all visitors.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, quick thinking, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising daily rink operations and staff performance
- Overseeing opening and closing procedures
- Ensuring all safety and operational checks are completed
- Providing on-site leadership and resolving issues promptly
- Managing customer queries or incidents in a professional manner
- Supporting with skate hire, queue management, and general guest assistance when required
- Maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness across the site
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Confident, approachable, and great with people
- Experienced in team leadership or customer service
- Calm and organised, even in busy or high-pressure environments
- Safety-conscious and responsible
- Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Event, leisure, or hospitality experience is an advantage — but the right attitude and leadership ability are just as important.
