Do I need to hire skates?
Skate hire is included in the price of your ticket. You’re also welcome to bring and use your own ice skates if you prefer.

Absolutely! The rink is suitable for all abilities, including complete beginners.

Are skating aids available?
Yes. Skating aids (penguins, polar bears etc.) are available for £5 each and are ideal for younger or less confident skaters.

Numbers are limited for each session. Skating aids can be pre-booked online, and any remaining aids will be available on a first come, first served basis on the day.

Are wheelchairs allowed on the ice?

Yes! Manual wheelchairs are welcome on the ice, and we recommend they are pushed by a companion.

Electric wheelchairs may not be suitable, as they can struggle to move safely across the ice.

If the person pushing the wheelchair is a registered carer, they do not need to purchase a skating ticket but must present a valid carer ID card on arrival to receive free entry.

Do carers need to pay?

If you are a registered carer accompanying someone with a disability or additional needs, you must show a valid carer ID card to be granted free access. You do not need to book a ticket if you are a registered carer accompanying another skater or wheelchair user.
